Nicole Richie is still not in jail

Uh, wasn’t Nicole Richie supposed to go to jail like a year ago? What ever happened to that, exactly? Cause I’m pretty sure if she had gone, she would have come out a much different person. And when I say “much different person”, I mean “in a body bag”. Although I guess the state figures that dating Joel Madden is probably punishment enough for any crime. At least that’s what my verdict would be anyway.

What was the reason why she should have been in jail? If it was the DUI thing, it was dropped.

Didn’t she do the “in thing” and check into rehab to blame her bad behavior on being addicted to breathing?

Money + fame usually equals a slap on the wrist. Always. Or, maybe she was and jail but slipped through the bars to freedom.
